Characteristics of family entrepreneurship - involvement of family members
The main characteristic of a family business is the involvement of family members in the business of the company, whether it is the management of the company by the family, whether it is the active involvement of family members in the business of the company. Family members can be engaged in the implementation of a family business in a variety of ways. They may be hired for managerial positions but may also be assigned to non-managerial, executive or administrative positions. Sometimes, family members can only deal with strategic business issues of the company, that is, withdraw completely from management positions and leave them to professional management. Also, family members can be hired full-time or do so-called part-time or casual jobs.
