Factors for the development of women's entrepreneurship - Demographic factors

The demographic factors include age, employment status, education. When it comes to age, there is no major difference between the sexes or between developed and underdeveloped countries. Employment is significant for entrepreneurial activity. They are three to four times more likely to start entrepreneurial activity among women who are full-time (full-time or part-time) compared to women who are not working, retired, or are still studying. This means that the workplace provides access to resources, social capital and ideas that can help in a business venture. Although the link between education levels and women's entrepreneurial activity varies from country to country, women entrepreneurs in high-income countries are more educated than women in low / middle-income countries.
