Wrold’s first tactile tablet

Blitab is an award winning braille tablet device, epowering blind and visually impaired people. BLITAB is the first ever Braille tablet using a disruptive actuating technology developed to create tactile text and graphics in real time. BLITAB allows for the first-time blind users to learn, work and play with one mobile device and to have digital access to information in real time. BLITAB converts any document into Braille text; little smart dots (“tixels”) raise immediately from the surface and then fall down again when text changes. • Digital exclusion - The costs of producing hard copy Braille and digital refreshable Braille displays have remained extremely expensive and unaffordable. • Poor literacy - Millions of children are left-behind in their education due to lack of Braille books and expensive devices. • Social exclusion - All previous leads indirectly to exclusion from society and not active participation in the community.
